Fake Steve Jobs revealed
So finally the identity of the guy who kept one of the funnies blogs around is out. In case you've lived under a rock, or in outer Mongolia for the past year and missed the whole thing, please read up on it here: http://fakesteve.blogspot.com.
As it turns out Fake Steve is an editor at Forbes. His real identity has been the subject of much speculation, and finally a reporter at the New York Times figured it out. It's a bit of a shame really, since the blog was so fantastically hilarious.
And one has to wonder if Brad Stone, the NYT reporter/sleuth couldn't have used this time to uncover some really important stuff instead? Why not use that time to go after Bush/Cheney/Rove instead, and perhaps have a real impact on the world? But, no. That was not to be. Brad, you ruined our fun. You suck.
Actually, whether the fun is ruined or not remains to be seen. Fake Steve will continue to blog under his pseudonym, but apparently the blog will move to Forbes.com.
