Syd Barrett dead at age 60

The original Pink Floyd frontman died a couple of years ago at age 60. Somehow this made me very sad, even though his influence on the later years of Floyd was minimal and he’s generally been out of the music industry for 30 years.

One of the most charismatic figures from one of the most interesting times in music is gone. Shine on wherever you are, Syd!
