Thankful for the Finnish weather

For once I'm grateful for the cold and harsh Finnish weather we tend to have in October and November. Today we got the first snow for the year. It was pretty nasty outside in the morning, but that didn't bother me one bit since today I also left for TechEd in Barcelona. Snow in the morning and tapas in the evening. Life is good.

I hope I'll be able find the time to blog a bit about the conference next week. However, I already started getting into a TechEd frame of mind by playing around with the Web21C SDK from British Telecom. My friend Tim Stevens at BT has been trying to get me to play around with this stuff for quite some while now (sorry Tim for not properly getting around to it before now).

These cool services give you access to the functionality that the telcos usually keep locked away, so that you now can build telephony functionality into your applications with very little effort. Tim is presenting a session at TechEd on Wednesday, please try catch it if you can. He'll be showing some great stuff there.
